Membership in Delta Theta Tau is not expensive! Dues are broken down as follows per year. Amounts may change slightly from year to year.

  • National dues: $20

  • Province dues: $5

How much time am I expected to give?

The time you donate to Delta Theta Tau is up to you. We do meet once per month in order to discuss our business, events, and of course, to socialize! Fundraisers and philanthropy events are scheduled around members other commitments whenever possible. We try to set a goal every quarter as to how many service hours we perform. It is expected that members take their commitments seriously.

Am I too old/ young to join?

Delta Theta Tau nationally encourages women of all ages to pursue membership. Chapters are encouraged to have women of all types. No one is ever too old! We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, physical disability, marital status or sexual orientation. Membership requirements are:

  1. 18 years of age or older

  2. General belief in a higher power (no specific religious expectations)

  3. Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  4. Intelligent, energetic, service minded, and fun!

I’m married and have children; could I still join?

Many of our members are married and/ or have children. Marital status is not a factor when considering membership!

I was already in a college sorority. How is this different?

Previous collegiate sorority membership does not necessarily preclude you from membership in Delta Theta Tau. We are not a member of the National Panhellenic Conference, therefore we are not obligated to turn away members of collegiate sororities. However, it is expected that once you initiate in to Delta Theta Tau you will not join another national, non-collegiate sorority like ours. Return to top
